On
my honor
I will do my best
I am promising to be guided by
the ideals of the Scout Oath
To do my duty to God
I will follow the teachings of my family
and religious leaders about God
and my country
I will learn about my government and my responsibilities
as a citizen
and to obey the Scout Law;
The 12 points of the Scout Law are guidelines to lead me
to wise life choices
To help other people at all times
By helping when I can, I will be doing my part to make this
a better world
To keep myself physically strong,
I will take care of my body, avoiding drugs,
alcohol, and tobacco
mentally awake
I will develop my mind both in the classroom and outside
of school
and morally straight.
I will be honest and open, clean in speech and manners,
and remain faithful to my religious beliefs

As an American I will do my best
to
Be Clean in my outdoor manners:
I will keep trash
out of waters, woods, fields, and roadways
Be Careful with fire:
I will prevent wildfires, leave my fire “dead
out”, and my firepit clean
Be considerate in the outdoors:
I will use low impact camping and hiking methods
and respect the land
and Be conservation-minded:
I
will only use good conservation practices with woods, energy, and
wildlife
